Our most compact snare kit, the centerpiece of the new SD-17 is an 8-lug, 3-1/2” x 13” chrome piccolo snare. Fully equipped with basket style concert stand, Gladstone style pad, sticks, key, and backpack gig bag, the pic delivers a sound characterized by explosive percussive attack but fewer overtones and less ringing sustain than a typical student snare drum.
